| | I’m finally practising what I preach 😳I’m always saying to use your assets that I create to their MAX! But as is often the case with people who tell you things, they are not doing it themselevs, so when I took five minutes to sit back and look at my business I realised that out of the hundreds of jobs done over the last year (we’ll ignore the previous years 😬) I hadn’t done one single case study and apart from a few BTS (Behind The Scenes) shots, I hadn’t shown any of the work and we’ve had some amazing projects. So I’ve now put a weekly schedule in place to do a case study a week! becasue it’s all very well getting work due to word of mouth (which is how I get my work), but it’s great to get new projects due to the success of previous ones. Below is an article I wrote on what you should do with the assets I create for you, becasue we all need a reminder and a little bit of help imagining the success it can bring. | | | |

| | When TV wasn’t bringing home the bacon, ASOS turned to YouTubeRetail’s not always vibing with Gen Z. To truly connect with this elusive consumer, brands need to cut through the noise with an audio-visual strategy that catches them in the right place, at the right time, with the right message to tap into their emotions. ASOS hit the mark. It was already a seasoned pro at short-form video and UGC content, and has since embraced long-form video on YouTube, to see if a change of environment would amplify its emotive messaging.

| | | | Tourist Faces $231,000 Fine for Flying Drone in Spain
I love drones and a few years back took my commercial flyer's licence so that we could get 5 seconds of video to make your brand videos POP (and becasue it was a new toy I wanted to play with 😁). Still, it’s amazing how many people don't know the rules and regulations for flying a drone, especially when you visit another country with different laws.
| | Below are a few photos (yes, I can take pictures as well as video) of places my drone has captured over the years. | | | |
| | The Ship Inn, Highley - This was done to provide a different perspective and showcase the area. We also did a video which showed a steam train coming in behind. | | | |

| | This was a shot for GoodYear tyres to give them options for their agricultural tyre marketing materials. | | | |
| | Croxall Hall had a lot of outdoor Christmas lights put up and wanted them captured. We mainly did video, but a few photos were also captured. | | | |
| | This was a several-month project in which we returned each week to document the demolition of the old Woolworths in Kidderminster. | | | |
| | Capturing a view of the local area (Ashbourne) for a house development company, Cameron Homes, to use in their marketing material. | | | |

| | | | It was a Gym apparel shoot 🏋And no, I didn’t need to work out 😮💨 We needed to capture the look of these clothes being worn as well as flat-lays. You need to give people as many ideas as possible to help them imagine themselves wearing your products. We also created cutouts so the images could be used wherever needed. Oh, and by ‘cut-outs’ we mean cutting the background out. As you can see below, the area around the product/model is the same colour as the background. | | | |

I’ve started taking a little downtime each week and exploring the local area (well, I say exploring, there isn’t much of the local area I haven’t explored in my lifetime, but no 2 visits are ever the same), but it is nice just to stop and take in what is right on your doorstep.
Anyway, enjoy the photos, and if you think there is somewhere local I should go, then let me know ☺️
