Has the approaching holiday season caught you off guard? 🎄

So we all know what is coming up, as it happens every year, and we all mean to plan our marketing way in advance, but do we really do that?

Well, yes, I fall into that category as well, as I seem only now to be planning my Xmas cards, social media posts and New Year fresh starts. Now I could make up an excuse about the client's work coming first, but truth be told, we are a micro business with only a few employees and not enough spare resources to have the luxury of a complete yearly plan, and I would probably say most of you are the same.

So rest assured that others are in the same boat as you, and if you are on the ball, you can feel proud (and smug) and give yourself a pat on the back.

Oh, and you don’t have to make a big deal out of it (unless you are selling to consumers and this is your main time of year - so what are you doing reading this), a simple seasonal graphical card on your social media channels will at least suffice.

And obviously, my following newsletter will contain the seasonal fun, which includes a LEGO scene shot in the studio 🧱

Catalogue photos

We’ve worked with Tfh for the last couple of years, and each time we have set up a photo studio in their warehouse to capture all their new products for the coming year's full colour printed catalogue and online store.

Tfh make and sells special needs toys, and I’m amazed at the range they have and almost like playing with them as much as photographing them - although I couldn’t fit in the swing.

Seeing it in print 📖

So the street photography workshop I went on the other month with RPS (Royal Photographic Society) has produced a book of the day with a selection of photos from the participants. Always nice to see your work in print. 😊

This little tool is something I’ve been using for a couple of years now, and I use it EVERY DAY!.

Basicly, it organises my tasks, lets me create recurring tasks, projects, ideas and syncs to appear in my calendar as well.
